What does shooting the moon mean?

If one player takes every heart and the Queen of Spades (26 points), they score 0 and each opponent scores 26.

Why can I not play a certain card?

You must follow suit when you can, hearts cannot lead until broken, and the first trick cannot contain hearts or the Queen of Spades when you have other cards.

How to use

Follow these steps to get a result

Each hand, pass three cards (left, right, across, then none), then play 13 tricks. The player with the 2♣ leads.
Follow the suit that was led if you can. The highest card of the led suit takes the trick.
Every heart you take is 1 point and the Queen of Spades is 13. Avoid points: the lowest total wins.
Hearts cannot be led until a heart (or the Queen of Spades) has been played. Take all 26 points to shoot the moon: everyone else gets 26.
